Who we are
Birds of Paradise is a group dedicated to uplifting those marginalized in the MTG space, raising awareness about equality in gaming, providing safe spaces both online and at conventions and helping members get to conventions. Representation in the space is crucial and we hope to foster a community that focuses on the rising tide raising all ships.
What we do
WE PROMOTE each other’s voices, as well as the voices of other people of marginalized genders, within gaming spaces.
WE PROVIDE opportunities within gaming spaces to people of marginalized genders through micro-grants for attending large gaming events, networking, internal committee involvement, and content collaboration.
WE PRACTICE our core values (Diversity, Excellence, Community, Knowledge, and Safety) through initiatives like mentorship programs, safe play spaces, mixers, and fundraisers.

Our mission is to create safe spaces in Magic the Gathering by welcoming people of all genders and identities to our tables. As a revolving collective of players and creators, we aim to highlight marginalized voices and content in our community.
